Museum Access Education makes learning an adventure! Each program begins with an exciting visit to a world class museum with host Leslie Mueller. She guides you through the museum, speaking to experts and always taking a behind the scenes peek. Students are presented with content based lessons featuring a problem or case study after viewing the video. They need to identify information, apply concepts and find solutions. Colorful visuals bring each lesson to life.

All learning activities are carefully tied to Common Core and National Education Standards by Chicago based Ivy and Wall creator, Bridget Weishaar

Join the learning revolution and be a part of the exciting Museum Access learning adventure!

Designed to be incorporated directly into existing school curriculums through learning units that are disciplinary and individualized to each student. Museum Access Education makes creative learning available to students everywhere, regardless of their location or socioeconomic status.

Each exciting unit begins with viewing the Museum Access program.  Leslie Mueller explores each destination, giving each student a tour  and a behind the scenes peek.  The lessons focus on specific topics that are related to the museum visit.  Students will be challenged at the end of each segment with questions or activities that allow them to explore and expand on what they just experienced.

About Our Co-Founders:

Bridget Weishaar,  Curriculum Director

I firmly believe that if a student gets the right resources and is willing to put in the time, he or she can reach any goal.  I learned that schools were not providing students with all the resources and information that they need to get where they want to go.  A lack of alignment and customization of curriculum and instruction to individual goals, and real world expectations has led students to feel that some goals are just not attainable.

I created Ivy and Wall to bridge this gap. With an MBA from Wharton School, U. of PA. and a decade of expereience on Wall Street with firms including  JP Morgan and Bear Sterns.  I understand how to convey the skills and knowledge to students.  I also earned a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction, and have taught at the high school, college and graduate levels including Chicago's Latin School and DePaul University.  Now armed with the knowledge of how educational institutions work, what skills and credentials corporate America demands, and how to effectively convey that knowledge, I hope to bridge the divide between academic performance and student goals.

Leslie Mueller,  Creative Director

Museum Access host, Leslie Mueller, began her art training at the Art Institute of Chicago at the age of 13.  She earned her BFA in Graphic Design & Photography from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX.  As an award winning designer in Chicago, she handled projects for many national clients.  She then join the consumer products powerhouse Unilever on the east coast.  She returned to her Chicago roots of television production and began producing and appearing in art related segments for Lifetime Television's programs 'Handmade by Design' and 'Our Home.'  She has also appeared on air as the 'Art and Style' savvy guest on television and local radio.

"My natural curiosity led me to create the Museum Access series to highlight a vital part of the American landscape and our best classrooms, our museums."
